New Cats Cafe invites you to it's preier wine tasting on Wednesday, October 19th. Between the hours of 7-9 pm, we will be tasting the wines from the Chianti region of tuscany, one of the most famous regions in Italy and the world. Please join us as we sample these wines.
Ruffino Chianti - This introductory Chianti is soft on the palate and easy to partner with both pasta, chicken and other light meats. The wine, a blend of the Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, exhibits soft notes of fruit on the palate.
Ruffino Santedame Chianti Classico - A single-estate wine from Ruffino, Santedame is harvested from grapes grown in a specifc and designated region in Tuscany. The wine has a deeper color and a longer finish than other simple chiantis.
Ruffino Riserva Ducale Gold Label - Known around the world for its distinctive label, the Gold Label chianti is a masterful wine. Aged for at least two years in oak barrels, this wine represents all that Tuscany stands for with solid earthy characteristics and a silky finish.
Fattoria Viticcio Lucious Chianti Classico - This blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot is named after the founder of the estate. Typical of the chianti style, Lucious is an elegant and silky red that is ready to drink now. |
